I was recently invited by The Moms, along with amazing bloggers Beth, Brianne, Jenna, and Denise, to check out the Dreams Resort Riviera Cancun.* Twist my arm. Ok, fine, I guess I’ll go. (Squeeeeeeee!!!!) I’ve done Mom Guilt before, so instead of taking that route, I just decided to say yes and trust that this was a trip I was meant to be on.
The weekend was exactly what I needed to jump start my creativity and get inspired. Traveling. Storytelling. Networking with amazing women. Learning. Creating. Relaxing. Seriously, a girl could get used to this. All of my favorite things in one weekend? Add shoe shopping and I could have died and gone to heaven. 
A great place for a family getaway, girls’ weekend or couple’s trip, Dreams is all-inclusive. No wristband. Real restaurants. Daily specials. (the poolside ceviche bar was a highlight) I didn’t have to pull my wallet out once, which was wonderfully freeing. It took me by surprise how that one perk sets the mood for the whole trip. It’s like play time again.
So we played. Beautiful beach, pool, wifi everywhere, great service, it’s luxe, without being stuffy, and best of all tropical. All things a great vacation should be.
